Pageant Entry Form

There will be three age divisions in this pageant:

• Little Miss ages 4-6 on pageant day
• Junior Miss ages 7-10 on pageant day
• Pre-Teen Miss ages 11-14 on pageant day

They will be judged in 4 categories:

• Interview
• Adventure Awaits - Safari (active outfit) - Dress up in safari clothes
• Speaking question on stage in their cowgirl attire. Dress up like a cowgirl to represent the fair and the agriculture it brings to our state.
• Party wear

Rules:

• All decisions by the judges are final.
• All outfi ts must be approved by the director before the pageant.
• The contestants will have two meetings for practice and one informational meeting. The infomation meeting will be Thursday, August 7 at 5:30 pm. All meetings and practices will take place at the Expo Hall. Practice meetings will be on Monday, August 11 at the following times:
  • Little Miss: 5:30 - 6:15 pm
  • Junior Miss: 6:15 - 7:00 pm
  • Pre-Teen Miss: 7:00 - 7:45 pm
• Then there will be a dress rehearsal on Thursday, August 14 at 5:30 pm. In the Expo Hall. Their pictures will be taken for the paper on Thursday, August 14.
• Each contestant can wear make-up but only light make up, this is a natural pageant.
• Each contestant will be allowed one person backstage with them during the pageant.
• The Little Miss will start at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, August 17 followed by the Junior Miss, and Pre-Teen Miss. • Interviews will be done on Sunday, August 17 starting at 11:00 am.
• There is no fee to enter the pageant, althought there will be a $5 addmision fee for family and friends to come watch.

The Du Quoin princesses that are chosen by the judges will need to be availble to ride in the parade on Friday, August 22. Applications are due on Thursday, August 7, 2025 by the time of the meeting.

If you have won the title of Little Miss, Junior Miss or Pre-Teen Miss you cannot run again until you age up to the next age group. No person can win the same title twice.
