Non-Fair Events

The DuQuoin State Fairgrounds is located in the heart of Southern Illinois, near the bottom of the valley formed by two of the world's mightiest rivers. The grounds highlight more than 600 carefully sculpted acres of grass-covered hillsides, eleven sparkling lakes and ponds all of which feature year-round fishing and leisure time activities.

Visitors are welcomed by open picnic areas shaded by more than thirteen hundred stately trees that insinuate the years of tradition and development that make this facility irreplaceable.

Investments in the future continue to be made to maintain the beauty and safety of existing structures while new facilities such as a climatized multi- purpose building and a covered equine pavilion are added to enhance usability of the grounds.

The DuQuoin State Fairgrounds, its staff and management will cater to your needs and would welcome the opportunity to host any upcoming events you may be planning. The Fairgrounds is recognized as a leading multi-use venue and offers the finest in service and recreational opportunities available anywhere.

The Department of Agriculture is committed to following all public health guidelines, and the same will be required of all Lessees. All Lessees must sign a COVID-19 Addendum agreeing to comply with all State and public health guidelines at the time of their event.
