Walking, Jogging, Bicycling

Explore the beautiful outdoors at the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds! Whether you love biking, walking, or jogging, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the Fairgrounds. The entire Fairgrounds is open year-round for these recreational opportunities. Visitors are welcome to park in the main part of the Fairgrounds where one can take in the stunning architectural features of the Art Deco style buildings or the Buckminster Fuller geodesic dome. The main Fairgrounds area also provides large asphalt pads with no vehicular traffic for even the youngest kiddos to ride bikes or scooters.

Looking for a more remote area to exercise? Take in the views from “the hills” as you experience the changing seasons throughout the year. With a variety of routes available, everyone—regardless of age or fitness level—will enjoy walking, jogging or biking through the nature areas. So grab your friends and family, and come enjoy some recreational time in the Fairgrounds!

Things to note:
